09 percent jump in division’s high school exam results

Former commissioner of Rewa division, Dr. Ashok Kumar Bhargava’s innovations led to a jump of 09 percent in the division’s high school examination results.

The result of the 10th high school examination recently announced by the Board of Secondary Education has been very enjoyable and unprecedented for Rewa division. There has been an increase of 09 percent in the successful students in Rewa division as compared to the previous year, whereas in the previous examination result had fallen by 06 percent. The result of the examination in the entire state has increased by only 1.5 percent as compared to the previous year, whereas the growth of Rewa division is the highest ie 9% among all the divisions of the state. Along with this, there has been a 27 percent increase in the examination results of government schools in Singrauli district of Rewa division, on the other hand, 23 percent has been registered in Sidhi and 17.7 percent in Satna.
It is worth mentioning that the then Commissioner Rewa Division and presently Secretary, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Department of Public Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of High School Board Examination results were very disappointing in the last teaching session, at the same time resolved to improve the examination results and to improve it The then Commissioner Rewa Division Dr. Ashok Kumar Bhargava effectively implemented the following seven innovations to improve education along with a new strategy: –
(1) Timely start practical work in schools and improvement in laboratories, so that science teaching is effective and students will be interested in science education.
(2) Make a teacher lesson plan and have students read regularly according to it.
(3) Regular inspection of home work given to the students by the teachers should be done by the principal checking sample.
(4) Teaching work should be done by the Principal himself from time to time.
(5) The teachers should maintain the diary and conduct diagnostic classes.
(6) The duly conducting bridge course efficiency enhancement.
(7) To improve cleanliness in the school, to keep the campus green and parents meeting regularly.
With the introduction of these innovations, qualitative as well as numerical improvement in education was achieved. For this, the then Commissioner Rewaan Dr. Ashok Kumar Bhargava established a direct dialogue with the group principal, lecturer and concerned teachers at the division, district and block level by motivating them with an inspiring speech for qualitative and numerical changes in education and gave them full energy for their responsibilities. , Awakened to do teaching work with enthusiasm, passion and dedication.
Along with this, divisional officers were entrusted with the responsibility of continuous inspection and review of schools with 0 to 30 percent examination results in the division. Dr. Bhargava himself, along with surprise inspection, visits and training of the schools, also gave appreciation letters to the teachers who did good work and duly punished the negligent teachers. The then Commissioner Rewa Dr. Ashok Kumar Bhargava ensured necessary action by taking effective initiative for the discharge of the BLO obligations of teachers under the Acts of Education, so that the teaching work of the students is not affected.
Thus qualitative and numerical development in education has been reflected through Dr. Bhargava’s continuous efforts, review meetings and inspiring speeches. The number of students passed in the first category in the division has increased from 36540 to 41,763 as compared to the previous year, which means there has been an increase in the number of more than 5000 students.
Last year, only 13 students of Rewa division were able to get a place in the merit, while this year, 66 students of Rewa division have been successful in getting a place in the merit list of 360 students and students from all over the state. Thus, with qualitative and numerical changes, Rewa division has been able to rise from the lower rungs to a respectable position. Last year, the number of schools with 0 to 30 percent examination results was 245, which has now come down to 103.
The then Commissioner Rewa Division Dr. Ashok Kumar Bhargava, while expressing the importance of education, has summarized that “The aim of quality development in education is to make students readable so that they have a sense of self-respect, self-confidence, sense of responsibility, sense of justice, wisdom.” Along with this, there could be a kind of intimate connection with social concerns. Education is the strength of the students to build their ability to face the challenges in the life struggle.
